Here is What Our Students Have to Say!
Student Success StoriesFAQs
Where should I park?
What time should I arrive?
What happens in Huddle?
Our huddle is our quick way of getting our team all together before the day beginnings to share any coordination and wins that our team and patients are having. We start with selecting one of our Working Principals and Core Values, then handle any coordination. After that, we share any wins. We finish with any updates from leadership. Students are encouraged to participate in huddles. After all, you are part of the team while you are here.
What will my first day look like?
Our philosophy is to have you be as best prepared to work with patients as soon as possible. To do that, we help you get familiar with our floor, team, basic policy, and procedures. That way when you are on the treatment floor, you don’t have to worry about learning about the facility and how we work. In order to accomplish that, your first day or two will be going through training that is tailored to your clinical experience. It is self-paced, so the time it takes is student dependent.
Is there any onboarding that can be done before I arrive?
Clinically is there anything I should study to be prepared?
Ultimately, we trust that your school has provided what you will need to be successful in your clinical experience. With that being said, a few topics that other students have found to be helpful to brush up on are as follows; musculoskeletal examination, the vestibular system, physical therapy coding, basic exercise, progressions and regressions, joint arthrokinematics, and general anatomy and physiology.
