I work in the electric utility industry and suffered a fall on the job which resulted in a proximal long head bicep rupture. My surgeon recommended no surgery which had me extremely worried if I’d make a full recovery and return to work. Thanks to everyone at Fyzical Therapy Ventura from the front desk to my Physical Therapist Nathan Wakomoto who listened to me and my concerns, accommodated me through the ups and downs of the recovery process, always having a warm and welcoming environment, and a positive attitude. All of these attributes combined made me confident I would recover, kept me motivated and excited to come into PT, perform my exercises at home diligently, and equally important, maintain and keep a positive attitude during a challenging time in life. After only 3 months and putting in the time and hard work I made a full recovery and I’m back to being the Dad I want to be to my 4 and 7 year old girls, surfing and working out again, and have returned back to work with zero restrictions. I can’t express my appreciation and gratitude enough to everyone at Fyzical Therapy Ventura.
