POSITION SUMMARY:

A team physical therapist with a focus on providing high quality physical therapy to our clients through manual therapy, corrective exercise and other clinical technology, equipment, services to create great patient outcomes that result in patient getting back their ability to actively love their life. Utilize the extended 1 on 1 time with your patients to maximize your treatment and patient education to create long term clients and create career growth for you and the business through our transparent career path from team therapist to potential partnership.

ABOUT ADVANTAGE PHYSICAL THERAPY:

We are an established Pro-Active Physical Therapist owned Private Practice, specializing in Orthopedics, FYZICAL Balance and Vestibular Rehab Center, Woman’s / Pelvic Health, Industrial & Employment services and Integrated Wellness. We are about a mile from the beach in the beautiful beach town of Ventura, CA. Our Mission is to empower people to actively love their life, including our team. • Highly engaged with quality productivity standards and administrative systems that enhance our ability towards attaining our mission in changing lives with quality services.
• Ensure that Aides perform and meet established care standards for client interaction with set ups, facility care and administrative services.
• Supervision of professional clinical care and collaboration with Team PTAs. while maintaining responsibility for excellent client relationship and goal attainment outcomes.
• Be solution driven to learn, optimize and implement fiscal responsibility for timely notes, correct coding/billing for client benefits and investments in their health; to stay current with maximizing and representing your value as a professional.
• Leadership, active engagement, mentoring, contribute to the enhancement clinical and administrative skills of self and other team members and students. Mentoring of clinical admin support team to develop the next generation of our profession.
• Seeks to understand and apply all of our clinical services for the betterment of the client’s understanding what our profession has to offer.
• Works with and assists the Operations Director to ensure clinical and administrative flows are smooth and creating remarkable client outcomes.
• Assist with training and building growth in team members and participates in our student program. This includes helping to teach other clinicians, skills, demonstrating techniques, drilling, leading clinical learning sessions, and general application of knowledge. This is done through coordination with the Clinic Director’s approval and direction.
• Responsible/aware of servicing other clients being treated even if you aren’t the primary therapist of that client to fulfill your contribution to the team.
• Works with CEO and Executive Team to create and deliver clinical programs and community outreach. Presentations that are valuable to the community and can be used to market the good works of the team & clinic.
• Assist with marketing / community outreach and clinic expansion activities as an excellent clinical representative. This includes attending community activities and delivering community outreach programs.
• Pursues growth and learning in both clinical, business and sales/marketing knowledge, then applies this knowledge to daily activities to bring success to clients and the team.
• Full, active participation in meetings and team activities, including follow through for effective and efficient action.
• Recognizing and acting on opportunities for business growth within your client population, by being familiar with all service lines.

• Able to communicate business objectives with quality clinical sensitivities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• A degree in Physical Therapy
• A current CA physical therapy license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to physically do manual therapy and exercise with clients.
• Prolong periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
• Prolong periods of standing and walking to take care of patients.
• The ability to lift and move equipment and office supplies.
• May be required to travel for continuing education, marketing or team activities.
