WorkSTEPS Employment Testing

 

 • Job Analysis (includes essential function segmentation)

A Job Analysis is to ensure that all essential functions are captured and that the analysis is fully ADAAA compliant.

PHASE I-PRE OFFER TESTING

 • PDC Lyte Pre-offer Test
        .

ADAAA compliant assessment that is performed when no know position exists, no medical history included, Heart rate and Blood pressure included with consent, three lifts included to determine safe lifting capacity and PDC level at which the applicant can be placed in.

 • Pre-Offer Agility Test
        .

ADAAA compliant assessment that is performed pre-offer but upon knowing what position the applicant would be place in, no medial history included, Heart rate and Blood Pressure included with consent, lifting included which qualifies or disqualifies candidate for a know position, functional job specific tasks performed PHASE II-POST OFFER TESTING

 • Basic Post-Offer Test
    .

ADAAA compliant assessment that includes a full medical history, a limited number of medical  measurements, cardiovascular assessment including heart rate, blood pressure, and 3-minute cardiovascular step test, limited baseline musculoskeletal component to quantify a pre-existing medical condition,  two dynamic lifts, grip strength testing, and functional job specific tasks performed   All medical data and testing data are stored in our facility

 • Comprehensive Post Offer/Pre-employment Evaluation
    .

Upper Extremity Carpal Tunnel Test (if required) Approximately 2 hour ADAAA compliant assessment that includes a full medical history and a Capable/Not Capable result. Verbal results given same day, written results within twenty-four (24) hours  provided to the employer *only*; no results or indication are provided to the applicant.   All medical data and testing data are stored in our facility PHASE III-POST EMPLOYMENT TESTING

 • Fit for Duty Physical Capacity Assessment after Injury
    .

ADAAA compliant assessment to determine an employee’s continued ability to successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   Verbal results given same day, written results within twenty-four (24) hours provided to the employer *only*; no results or indication are provided to the employee.   All medical data and testing data are stored in our facility

 • Annual or Post-Employment Physical Fitness & Agility Assessment
    .

ADAAA compliant assessment to determine an employee’s continued ability to  successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   Verbal results given same day, written results within twenty-four (24) hours provided to the  employer *only*; no results or indication are provided to the applicant.   All medical data and testing data are stored in our facility

 • Functional Capacity Evaluation
    .

ADAAA compliant, comprehensive medical evaluation which includes but is not  limited to: assessment for symptom magnification, validity cross-checks, all essential job function testing, activity tolerance testing, static and dynamic lifting, musculoskeletal exam, specialty and exertion testing, etc. Function Capacity Evaluations are indicated after major medical incidents, extended leaves, for disability ratings, in situations where the employee continues to show no medical progress or physician restrictions are vague.

 • CPR/First Aid with AED Training on site

Training and certification of your employees for Adult CPR, First Aid and AED. Suggested minimum of 6 and up to 12 employees per class.  Adult CPR and First Aid only is five (5) hours in length. With the inclusion of AED training classes are six (6) hours in length.
