Blayne Liparoto, PT, CPAVE, CWcHP

Owner, CEO

Blayne R. Liparoto, P.T., CPAVE, CWcHP, owner/director of the clinic and licensed provider of WorkSTEPS. Her B.S. In Physical Therapy was from Texas Woman’s University, in 1984. Following graduation she began her career in the field of physical therapy working with neurologic and orthopedic cases while consulting in spine and sports rehabilitation. Prior to relocating to California, Ms. Liparoto worked with Mr. Feeler (the developer and founder of WorkSTEPS) at Odessa Physical Therapy during the early stages of employment screening in industrial services. With clinical experience in out-patient hospitals and private practice, she offered an extensive background in orthopedic manual therapy and neurologic treatment of the spine and sports care, golf specific performance enhancement, obstetrical and gynecological diagnoses, chronic pelvic pain, exercise, chronic pain management, TMJ and pediatrics. In addition, she has been an educator of her peers in the principal techniques for examination and treatment of the orthopedic and sports patients, and Woman’s Health Issues.


Teresa Kaspar, ATC, CEAS

Industrial Services & Testing Center Manager
Teresa Kaspar, ATC, CEAS, CPCT, BAT is the testing center manager for Advantage Physical Therapy. She graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND in 1995 with a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training and Biology. She furthered her education in 2005 by gaining her Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist Certification from The Back School of Atlanta. She is a Certified WorkSTEPS tester and Red Cross CPR/First Aid Instructor. She is also a Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry of America Certified Professional drug Collector Trainer and a Certified Breath Alcohol Technician.

Teresa has been with Advantage Physical Therapy for five years and a part of the local Physical Therapy Community for 16 years. Teresa enjoys all sports with football being her favorite. She enjoys running in her free time when she and her husband are not running their young son off to his sports and Cub Scout activities.


Keiko Goji, DPT

Physical Therapist

Keiko was born and raised in Japan and originally came to the U.S. when she finished high school in Japan in 2000. She heard about the Physical Therapy field when she was attending college. She thought Physical Therapy would be a good for her, because it focused on making people’s lives better.  She went to Loma Linda University and earned her Doctorate of  Physical Therapy in 2007. Soon after graduation, she worked in South Bay of Los Angeles in a community-based hospital. There she was able to work with neurologically involved patients such as Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Head and Brain Injuries. During this time, her mother suffered a stroke and she returned to Japan for two years to help her rehabilitation. With Keiko’s help, her Mother went through intensive rehabilitation,  is mostly independent and now enjoying her life again. After these two years, Keiko came back to the U.S. and resumed her career as a Physical Therapist in Los Angeles. She was married in 2013 to her husband, an Occupational Therapist and a local Venturan, who she met at her first job. After more than five years in the Los Angeles area, they relocated back to Ventura County to serve the community he grew up in.

She has had experience with most generations and variety of diagnoses including Orthopedic, Spine, Neurological, General Illness, Geriatrics, and Pediatrics. Her motto is to treat the whole person, to help patients to recover from what they have lost. Even small injuries could change your life, work, or lifestyle. She believe in the importance of listening and knowing her patient well and making individualized treatment plans.

In her free time, she likes working in the yard, growing organic fruits and vegetables. Keiko and her husband like to hike and camp in the nature, including visiting natural forests and parks.


Danielle Schmutzler, DPT

Physical Therapist

Danielle graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University. She received her Doctorate in Physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego with an emphasis in Manual therapy and Orthopedics.  Danielle is a Ventura County local and has recently moved back to the area; as she is passionate about helping the community live up to their potential. During her free time she enjoys playing all sports, but soccer and snow skiing are her forte.


Hilary Labat, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Hilary attended Carrington College and graduated with an A.S. in Physical Therapy Assisting in 2013. After graduation, she began her career working in outpatient orthopedic clinics in the East Bay where she developed her skills in managing work and sport related injuries, postoperative rehab, fall prevention and balance training and other orthopedic conditions. She joined Advantage Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant in June of 2015 after relocating from the San Francisco Bay Area where she was born and raised.

Hilary has spent the last three years gaining hands on experience as well as staying committed to education and professional development by taking continuing education courses. Her passion is in teaching patients about their body and helping them to fully recover so that they can live a life they love!


Lauren Moon, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Lauren Moon, PTA is a Ventura County local that recently graduated in 2015 from Concorde Career College in North Hollywood. During her internships she has worked with neurological, geriatrics, and orthopedic patients. From her learning experiences she realized that the patient is more than just a condition, but a person who wants to get back to do the things they love. And with her continuos learning career she is open to expanding her knowledge with her co workers at Advantage Physical Therapy!

In her off time she likes to go on hikes around Ojai, going to the beach and spending time with her family.


Sylwia Kamboj, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Sylwia Kamboj is a Physical Therapist Assistant, who graduated from Medical University of Silesia in Poland in 2009. During course of her university, she choose to focus her interest on manual therapy as method of treatment for orthopedic patients. To develop that interest and increase her practical skills, she attended series of additional courses, like:

Manual Therapy with movement according to Mulligan Concept. Manual Therapy – diagnosing and treatment according to Dr. Arkuszewski. Manual Therapy according to Dr. Narushka – volunteering in manual therapy program for professionals and alsoPNF – basic course for Proprioceptive Neurofacilitation

Following university graduation, she worked in variety of different settings, like pediatrics, orthopedics and neurology, however her favorite one remained orthopedic clinics, where she could pursue her manual therapy interests and skills.

After getting married, she and her husband decided to move to United States in 2010. She started lengthy process of her professional diploma evaluation and earning credits for educational equivalency. While taking a break from professional work, she focused on family life and raising her little boys.

In 2014 she earned her professional license for Physical Therapy Assistant in California, and soon after she started her employment with Advantage Physical Therapy. She truly enjoys her working at the clinic, she believes in building a patient-therapist relationship, she loves employing all known to her techniques to achieve patient improvement, but most of all she loves to hear from her patients, “It feels so much better now!
